House extension, Surrey
Conversion of existing steel framed indoor pool extension to a reception room.
The original indoor pool adjoining this house was built in the 1980s and the steel structure though elegant was showing signs of corrosion. It was decided to retain and treat the steelwork but install a completely new insulated floor slab, walls and roof to create a new family living room. Underfloor heating was installed throughout and a study was created in the old plant room.
